On Sick Call

4/22/08-Just got a report from John Wentworth. Mike Smargiassi is sitting up in ICU and doing well following heart valve replacement surgery 8 days ago.

Bob Patton is also in ICU and may have had a stroke. Best wishes to both great guys.

I’m sorry to pass on bad news. John Douthit had a stroke Monday evening at home. 

He is in South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta and Phyllis tells us he is making great progress in his recovery. 

At some point he will go to rehab probably in the same facility.

Ben Rogala released from hosp. this afternoon after emer to hosp Tues. Diagnosis not good. Cancer. 

He is in good spirits but very weak. 

Let his friends know please.

He will be operated on June 19, to try to stop this agressive cancer.
